We are not going to reserve a block of rooms because the discount was only $10.00/room and we felt that the downside of having to pay for unrented rooms outweighed the savings.
We checked out several hotels. All the hotels were within a couple blocks of each other and about 2.5 miles from the convention center.

The Hilton Garden Inn was the nicest place we looked at. It’s not the fanciest Hilton I’ve stayed at but pretty nice.
